Decaydance and Fueled by Ramen released Panic! at the Disco's A Fever You Can’t Sweat Out on Sept. 27, 2005. Group members Ryan Ross, Brendon Urie and Spencer Smith wrote lyrics that covered taboo topics like the sanctity of marriage, adultery, mental health, alcoholism and prostitution. After promoting their own music on MySpace during high school, Fall Out Boys’ Pete Wentz picked up Panic! at the Disco under his label Decaydance. The album is the band’s introduction into the music scene, with long intricate titles like “London Beckoned Songs About Money Written By Machines” and “Nails For Breakfast, Tacks For Snacks” that match their songs’ obscure, poetic lyrics. The album reached double platinum in 2006 due largely to the success of the album's lead single "I Write Sins Not Tragedies."The pop punk, American Rock n’ Roll style music appealed to the millennial generation, especially those categorizing themselves as “90s Kids.” It influenced their teenage self exploration years and led to the major commercial success of the album. The music of Panic! at the Disco continues to interest people in their early twenties with their newest album Too Weird to Live Too Rare to Diereleased during 2013.
